BBC Highlights £18m Warm Homes Funding to Nottinghamshire - How Residents Can Access Support

A recent article from BBC News reported that £18 million has been awarded to councils across Nottinghamshire to help make homes warmer and more energy efficient. Delivered through the government’s Warm Homes Local Grant scheme, the grant funding supports low-income households with improvements such as insulation measures, solar panels, air source heat pumps, and more.

Nottingham City Council alone will receive £7.4m through the Warm Homes: Local Grant scheme.

The funding is designed to help households reduce energy bills, improve comfort, and tackle fuel poverty. Support will be available until March 2028, with hundreds of homes expected to benefit. If you live in Nottinghamshire, you may be eligible.
