Nottingham Greener Housing

Nottingham City Council's flagship Greener HousiNG scheme and Nottingham Energy Partnership are offering solid wall insulation grants to Nottingham's private households in select areas in the city.

This home improvement would normally cost in the region of £8,000.  Nottingham City Council's Green Deal for Communitites Fund, a government initiative to encourage the takeup of solid wall insulation will pay for up to 75% of the cost for privately owned households.

Please see below the areas where work has already been completed or is due to be carried out. These areas have been chosen by Nottingham City Council as they all contain a large proportion of either solid brick or no fines (concreate) properties that are very hard to heat.  These areas are also home to a large proportion of Nottingham City Homes properties that will be having the work done at the same time.  The various projects  work on a systematic street by street basis.
