Local Energy Workshops

If you are a member of a community group or organisation whose members would like advice on saving energy, money and carbon at home then help is at hand.

Free home energy advice workshops are available from Nottingham Energy Partnership, manager of the Council’s Warm Zone home energy efficiency service.

The workshops are interactive, fun, informative and cover the following subjects and more:

  • insulation
  • heating improvements
  • switching energy tariff and
  • energy saving tips around the home

All advice given is completely impartial and participants go home with a free goody bag of energy saving products, helping them to start saving straight away.

The workshops can take place as part of your group’s regular meeting or as a specially arranged event.  They have already been a great hit with local groups.

“Attending the workshop has allowed us to take action to save £48 per month on our home energy bills”, Shaun & Dawn, local residents

“The event was very interesting - everyone enjoyed it. I used to have some bad energy habits but have been able to change them”, Jean, local resident and coordinator of a local ladies group

“The workshop was really eye-opening! It has massively changed the way I use energy at home”, Danielle, Carlton.
