Does your property have solid brick walls?
From January 2013, solid wall insulation grants will be available to private sector houses built before the 1940s or those that have concrete walls
- This sort of insulation can save a household up to £400 off a yearly heating bill
- It acts as a noise barrier and could add value to a property
- All private sector households will be eligible for a grant of up to 60% or more
