Grants for heating
Warm Front aims to make homes warmer, healthier and more energy-efficient. The Warm Front Grant provides a package of insulation and heating improvements up to the value of £3,500 (or £6,000 if oil central heating is recommended).
Who can apply?

People aged 60 or over
-
Families with children under 16
-
Pregnant women after 26 weeks who have a MATB1 certificate
-
People receiving disability benefits
Also, you must

Be a Home Owner, or
-
Rent from a private landlord
AND, you must receive one of the following benefits

Income Support

Council Tax Benefit

Housing Benefit
-
Income Based Job Seekers Allowance

Pension Credit
-
Working Tax Credit (with an income of less than £16,040, which must include a disability element)

Disability Living Allowance
-
Child Tax Credit (with an income of less than £16,040)

War Disablement Pension (which must include a mobility supplement or Constant Attendance Allowance)

Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit (which must include a mobility supplement or Constant Attendance Allowance)

Attendance Allowance
-
Income Support/Housing Benefit/Council Tax Benefit with a disability premium
Warm Front Heating Rebate Scheme
If you are aged 60 and over and do not qualify for a Warm Front Grant because you do not receive a relevant benefit, you may still be eligible for a £300 rebate. This rebate is available to householders who own their home or rent it from a private landlord, who either have no central heating system or one which is inoperable
