National Energy Saving Week kick starts at the end of October. This year NEP has teamed up with movie moguls Pearl and Dean to reinforce the message of energy saving by taking ‘Greener Living’ to the big screen.
Nottingham’s art house cinema, The Broadway (Broad Street, Hockley) will show a trailer of ‘Greener Living’ before every film that week.
NEP hopes the screening will get people talking about The Green Deal, the government’s upcoming energy policy set to launch this winter. It aims to increase the energy efficiency of hard to heat solid brick homes by installing solid wall insulation and ‘G’ rated boiler upgrades.
NEP is preparing to deliver the Green Deal in Nottingham and Broxtowe Borough, and considering options to deliver further across the county and wider. If you live in a solid brick house register your interest by calling 0115 985 9057.
