Keep warm this winter
18 November 2011
NEP's Nottingham Warm Zone, Broxtowe Warm Zone and Healthy Housing Service (for Nottinghamshire residents) work in partnership with local authorites and the NHS to deliver practical home insulation measures to make sure people are warm at home.
They also act as a valuable referral service for Warm Front - the national heating scheme that provides grants worth up to £3,500 for vulnerable households with no working heating system.
With CERT funding coming to an end next year, and Warm Front grants being cut year on year, it's never been more crucial for homeowners and private tenants to apply for these FREE and discounted home energy improvements, as Greg Barker rightly says 'Getting a boiler that works better or even just topping up loft insulation can lead to a warmer, cosier home in the future'.
